Navigable Astronomical Object (NAO)

A Navigable Astronomical Object (NAO) is the astronomical object (usually a star) nominated as the origin point for an impulse navigation grid. Every major star system has its own such grid, based on the 3D cartesian coordinate system, which is used as a navigation guide for impulse maneuvering.

The NAO represents coordinates X0, Y0, Z0 on its impulse navigation grid.
