Narrowband EMDAR

Narrowband EMDAR uses the same passive EM detection system as broadband EMDAR but is far more directional, focussing on a very limited area of space.

Command Syntax: Impulse Navigation

The main navigation mode for moving around star systems is impulse, which involves speeds of up to one-fifth the speed of light (about 60,000KM per second).

Vessel Position & Direction

The navigation system is based around Navigable Astronomical Objects (NAOs) – typically stars – whose position is fixed by stellar cartography.

Evolution: Figure-8

This impulse navigation evolution involves maneuvering the vessel  along a “figure eight” loop around two planets.

Torpedo Launch Procedure

Torpedo launch procedure consists of two phases. First a torpedo must be configured, assembled and fueled, then it must be loaded into a launch tube and launch parameters set.

Weapons Direction

Weapons direction involves the management of torpedo flight from launch through to successful prosecution (a hit on the target).

Torpedo System

The torpedo system manages the vessel’s primary weapons system.

Weapons Direction

Management of a torpedo’s flight, including selecting the optimal launch conditions (velocity, range, heading) for successful prosecution.
