We’ve been working on the Power Distribution Network (PDN) control system for a while now. It’s a complex system that will impact everything on the ship, so we think it was time well spent.
The operations console just got its first update, with two design mockups of Master Systems panels recently added. When completed, the panels will provide an overview of status across Endeavour’s key environmental, spaceframe and power systems.
This panel displays deck-specific master system indications. The operator chooses the deck to be monitored, typically to obtain further information about an indication displayed on the Master Systems panel.
The location of the indication on the display shows its location. Tapping the indication launches an overlay showing additional detail specific to that section.
The Master Systems panel provides an interface for monitoring systems throughout the vessel. It displays location-specific indications across a number of monitoring parameters.
Obviously we're going to need to find somewhere on Endeavour for a Flux Capacitor... especially now that someone in Australia appears to have invented one.
