New Crew Profiles
Posted By:

Four new crew profiles have been added to the ISDC careers site.

Crew profiles provide an insight into different roles throughout the ISDC and are intended to inspire future recruits. They include an overview of the profiled member’s current role and an insight into how they came to join the ISDC.

Crew profiles also provide valuable insights for existing members into the work being undertaken in different areas of the organisation.

The four new profiles are:

Tactical Officer Neeraj Anahira

A veteran of the Indian Navy, Neeraj and his team is currently working with analysts to test their tactical forecasts and possible responses in simulations. This involves simulating a wide variety of vessel systems designed to protect the crew from such threats, including its primary weapons system - guided torpedoes - and a range of defensive countermeasure systems.

Astrophysics Officer Amelia Chen

Amelia came to the ISDC from the Chinese National Space Program. She is currently simulating the behaviour of the vessel at faster-than-light (FTL) relativistic velocities and its interactions with surrounding space.

Core Systems Specialist Carl Franklin

Joining the ISDC after a career in the aeronautical industry, Carl has particular interest in near-range sensor systems. When he assumes duties aboard, he will work closely with the vessel’s Navigation Officer to track and anticipate spatial and planetary phenomena, enhancing the vessel’s ability to navigate through such phenomena.

Geophysics Specialist Leandro Hogan

Joining the ISDC from a civilian background with natural resource companies in Brazil, Leandro works to identify and catalogue evidence of such worlds, investigating and speculating upon the geophysical conditions on those planets, and the effect such conditions may have on societies those planets may support.
